Our model signifies the principle of “ask once get help fast”, with the same day contact being offered. Quick access to our service also has the ultimate aim of reducing the need for more specialist services, and inappropriate referrals being made to Clinical Services, thus alleviating pressures.
Psychological Therapies
We offer non clinical psychological therapies such as;
- 1-2-1 general counselling and support, utilising models such Recovery orientated systems of care, and acceptance and commitment.
- Wellbeing recovery action Planning
- Peer to peer support
This service operate alongside and complements early interventions, treatment and care of people with mental health problems as reflected through the priorities outlined in the Scottish Government’s Mental Health Strategy: 2017–2027.
