Outreach Support Worker (Self Directed Support Service)
Are you passionate about making a difference in people’s lives? Do you want a role that offers flexibility, purpose, and the opportunity to help others live independently in their community?
Anchor House Perth is recruiting Outreach Support Workers to join our Self Directed Support (SDS) Service, supporting individuals across Perth and Kinross to achieve their personal goals, maintain independence, and stay connected within their communities.
What You’ll Do

Your role will focus on helping people:
- Build confidence and life skills

- Develop independence and resilience
You’ll be working with people at their pace, offering practical and emotional support that makes a real difference — without personal care or cleaning duties.
What We Offer
- £12.00 per hour, rising to £13.00 per hour once qualified
- Flexible contracted hours to suit your lifestyle
- Comprehensive induction and training programme
- Support to gain your SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
- Pension scheme and supportive team environment
- The chance to work for a trusted local organisation that has been supporting people in Perth since 1988
About You

- Caring, reliable, and motivated
- Able to build positive relationships and work independently
- Flexible in approach and committed to helping others
- Hold (or are willing to work towards) SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
- Members of, or eligible to join, the PVG Scheme
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle
Hours
This is a flexible role, with a range of contracted hours available. We know life doesn’t always fit neatly into a 9–5 schedule, so whether you’re balancing childcare, studies, or other commitments, we’ll work with you to find a pattern that fits.
