We were delighted to welcome Chief Constable Jo Farrell to The Neuk Mental Health Crisis and Suicide Prevention Centre last week. Chief Constable Farrell, who took up her post in October 2023, spent time with our team to learn about the vital work we do in partnership with local officers to provide holistic support for individuals experiencing mental health crises.
Our innovative approach to handling mental health calls ensures that those in need receive the care and resources they deserve. Chief Constable Farrell’s visit underscores the importance of strong collaboration between third-sector organisations like The Neuk and Police Scotland to deliver compassionate and effective responses to those in crisis.
It was an honour to share the impact of our work and explore how we can continue strengthening the support available for our communities. We are grateful for Chief Constable Farrell’s commitment to mental health and suicide prevention, and we look forward to working together to make a real difference.
Thank you, Chief Constable Farrell and Police Scotland, for your dedication and support. Together, we can continue to build brighter futures for those in need.
