Anchor House in Perth Scotland run a social work student placement service for Dundee University. We have been working alongside the university and students alike for the last 10 years. We have helped prepare many social work trainees for practicing in the challenging field that is Social Work.
Whilst on their placement with Anchor House Students gain rich experiential training, this is due to how well our client’s respond to them. Our clients at Anchor House welcome the students and are happy to share life experiences with them. Good professional relationships are built and maintained through good communication.
Many of our students have went on to have fulfilling careers in Social work and practice across different local authority areas in Scotland. Our claim to fame in this area is to have helped in the development of successful team leaders and senior practitioners.
